背景 The General Directorate of Youth, Participation and Volunteering (www.xuventude.xunta.es) is a department of the Xunta de Galicia (www.xunta.gal) whose priority is to meet the needs and concerns of the young population living in Galicia, firmly believing that youth has much to contribute to society as a whole.

We work to improve the quality of life of young people in our autonomous community, developing actions and programs that benefit them, increase their well-being and allow them to improve their skill.
仕事内容 The objective of this proposal for the 1st Volunteer Camp in Tomi?o is to carry out a series of archaeological works aimed at characterizing the As Torres site, identified in 2020 by Xurxo Salgado Tejido, journalist, editor, and professor at the University of Santiago de Compostela, and characterized by archaeologist and professor at the University of Minho Rebeca Blanco-Rotea, as can be seen in the notification document included as an annex to this proposal.
The main actions of this camp are:
1. To develop an educational, archaeological, heritage, and outreach activity at the bastion or fortress located at the site of As Torres, in S?o Miguel de Taborda, in a project involving the Taborda Mountains community, the Archaeology Unit of the University of Minho, and the New Media Department of the USC Faculty of Journalism.
2. Carry out archaeological cataloging and documentation tasks at the site known as As Torres and disseminate the site's heritage wealth in relation to this site through oral communication, specific workshops, and outreach activities.

場所 Tomi?o (Pontevedra). Tomi?o is a municipality located in the southwestern part of the province of Pontevedra and is part of the Bajo Mi?o region.
The entire region has been inhabited since ancient times, with numerous remains from the Paleolithic and other periods of human settlement.

? Collection of toponyms related to the element to be worked on among the local population.
? Visits to the fortifications that make up the Goi?n-Vila Nova de Cerveira-Medos subsystem, to the Castelo de Santa Cruz (A Guarda), to Santiago de Compostela, and to Vigo.
? Sea kayaking.
? Medieval-themed workshops: making jewelry and decorative elements with beads.
? Themed evenings
集合場所 The meeting point is the train and bus station of Vigo on the day of the start of the work camp from 4 p.m. Vigo has good rail connections (www.renfe.es) By road, the best way to get to Vigo with www.monbus.es and www.alsa.com If the arrival in Galicia is by plane, the buses that connect the airports with their respective train or bus stations are as follows: - Peinador (Vigo): www.vitrasa.es; - Alvedro (A Coru?a): www.autoscalpita.com; and - Lavacolla (Santiago de Compostela): www.tussa.org.. Nearest airport is VGO. Nearest train or bus station is Vigo.

It is necessary to bring a sleeping bag, mat and backpack for hiking trails. Comfortable shoes for mountain and sports shoes.

主催者・支援機関詳細 1959年設立のInstituto De La Juventud。政府の青少年省に属する。若者のボランティアを盛り上げ、社会問題を改善し、若者に有意義な余暇を提供するのが目的。案内状の情報が不十分・不明確なことがよくありますが、プロジェクトは概ね好評です。公用語は西語と英語。英語だけでも参加できますが、西語も飛び交います！30才以下。
