| 背景 |
This project focuses on edu-farming in Bogor (about an hour from Jakarta). Volunteers will first join a learning session at Ciharashas Agro-educational Village in Mulyaharja, Bogor's rural area, where edu-farming supports sustainable livelihoods and strengthens the farmers’ community. Volunteers will learn organic rice farming, mina padi (rice-fish systems), and making biogas from livestock manure. They will also experience local cultures/arts, like gendang pencak, traditional games, and river-based environmental activities (when available). After gaining knowledge in the village, they will bring their skills to schools, youth groups, and communities in Bogor through school visits, workshops, and environmental education. |
| 仕事内容 |
The work mainly consists of running workshops for students and youth about organic agriculture and environmental protection. Volunteers will also collaborate with local youth in relevant community-based projects, such as gardening. Daily work averages 4?5 hours, with afternoons for cultural exchange, reflection, and interaction. |
| 宿泊 |
Volunteers will live in a modest homestay. Meals will be provided or volunteers will cook by themselves. An open mind, adaptability, and respect for local customs are essential for a meaningful experience. |

| 企画 |
During their free time, volunteers can explore the capital city of Jakarta and/or the natural surroundings of Bogor (mountains, waterfalls). The Bogor Botanical Garden is the oldest in Southeast Asia. |

Volunteer needs to submit a Certificate of Good Behavior from their homeland's authorities. The work consists of activities with children and youth. |
