背景 After a first weekend together last spring, the Red Cross center in Manhay invites us again to come and give them a hand with their vegetable garden. The vegetable garden allows residents who wish to grow vegetables and herbs, but is also intended to be a space of relaxation for the residents, and of fun/discovery for the children.
The Red Cross centre in Manhay welcomes people and families who are seeking asylum in Belgium for the duration of their procedure.

仕事内容 planting! We will also continue to develop the surroundings of the vegetable garden by building (and decorating) fences and pallet furniture. On Sunday, we will carry out an activity around the vegetable garden with the children of the center. Throughout the weekend, we will be working together with the motivated residents of the centre.
宿泊 We will have at our disposal two rooms to sleep, with camp beds. Showers and toilets are available near each of these rooms. We will enjoy the catering service of the center and eat with the residents in the refectory.

資格 16才以上
備考 The language of use on our volunteering weekends is French.　However, our groups are usually made up of young people of Belgian origin and young people of foreign origin (young European volunteers or young asylum seekers in Belgium). English or any other language can quickly intrude into your conversations.
