Little light-Big dreams 　児童養護施設で余暇活動。様々な地域交流

プロジェクトは二部構成。最初の4日間は、児童養護施設を訪問。子どもたちと一緒に活動を企画し、実施する。次の3日間は、村々を巡りながら、女性グループや自助グループのメンバー、幼稚園の子どもたち、若者などと交流。この期間中、ボランティアは家族や村の若者、地域組織のメンバーと物語や文化を共有し、日常の活動を手伝う。彼らの日常的な作業を手伝う。最終日の午前中には、村の幼稚園、寺院、教会、またはヒンドゥー教のコーヴィル（Kovil／寺院）を訪問する。

地元コミュニティであるシンハラ人とタミル人（約200年前にスリランカへ移住してきた人々）と共に活動し、交流。丘陵地帯の豊かな自然環境の中で、農村の生活や生計手段、地域の文化を体験しながら、地域の人々と協力して取り組む。

Life in Village　村を象から守る柵整備や苗床の管理

最初の4日間は、村を象から守るために設けられた防護フェンスの維持管理作業や、苗木農園の維持管理の補助。次の3日間は、村内を巡って地域の人々と交流し、プロジェクトの次の段階に取り組む。この期間中には、家庭訪問、青年・子ども会のメンバーとの交流や活動見学、女性グループや農民グループの訪問、村の幼稚園や寺院の訪問などを予定。
まとめると、活動内容は以下の通り：
1.防護フェンスの維持管理を支援
2.苗木農園の維持管理
3.村人や若者との文化交流プログラム
4.子どもたちとの交流活動
5.自助グループ・メンバーの活動を支援・参加

Bloom for life　女性自助団体の鞄工房補佐。様々な地域交流

最初の4日間は、主な作業拠点となる1か所で活動。生計支援活動としてバッグ作りや苗木栽培などの作業を行う。次の3日間は、村の中を巡りながら地域の人々と交流し、プロジェクトの次の段階に取り組む。この期間中には、家庭訪問や青年・子ども会のメンバーとの交流、女性グループや農民組合の活動見学、さらに村の幼稚園や寺院を訪問する。まとめると、活動内容は以下の通り：
1.家族のバッグ作りを手伝い、苗木農園の維持管理を支援
2.青年を含む村人たちとの文化交流プログラムを行う
3.子どもたちとの交流活動を行う
4.自助グループメンバーの活動に参加・支援

Ban Khuan Mit School

The main role of the volunteers is to conduct non-formal English classes and organize fun activities for students aged 7 to 15. Volunteers will work in groups of at least 2?3 per class, with around three classes each day. In addition, extra activities will be arranged for the students during their free time and/or in the evening.
Volunteers will also take part in community activities, such as sports competitions and potluck gatherings, which help strengthen relationships between the school, students, and local residents.
** We’ll keep you update 1 month or 2 weeks before the camp starts for a more detailed schedule**
** You will be supervised by DaLaa’s coordinator which will help you and people in this community to connect with one another.
We can’t guarantee about the number of participants (both Thai and international) We will keep informed during the application process.

Sasanu Pakpayoon School

The main role of the volunteers is to conduct non-formal English classes and organize fun activities for students aged 6 to 18. Volunteers will work in groups of at least 2?3 per class, with around three classes each day. In addition, extra activities will be arranged for the students during their free time and/or in the evening.
Volunteers will also take part in community activities, such as sports competitions and village ceremonies, which help strengthen relationships between the school, students, and local residents.

Koh Sukorn

? Replanting rice plants in flooded fields-
The rice (seeds) is first sowed. After a few weeks, the young seedlings are harvested in bunches. These are then separated into individual plants and replanted in the flooded rice fields in evenly spaced rows to allow the plant to grow to full size. This improves the yield of seeds the plants will produce.

**Activities proposed above can be adjusted according to the current incidents of sudden, possible unavailability of project matters, weather condition, etc.
It’s recommended for participants to bring in some ideas for group activities to the work camp as you will spend most of your stay with your volunteer friends. Activities can be card games, songs, shows, craft skill sharing or anything that bring you guys together!

Koh Sukorn

? Harvesting rice by hand - The rice have been replanted in late August- September. The field are flooded for the first 2 months during the raining season then November and December are the start of the dry season. The rice will be ready at that time and the farmers will cut the top part of the plant where the rice seeds are located. This is the work that the volunteers will experience. It’s usually very hot in the field and one must protect oneself from the sun.
? Harvesting watermelons: Koh Sukorn is very famous for the rich taste of its watermelons. Volunteers will help to harvest and carry the watermelons to be sold on the continents- All these work are community work.
? Creating games and activities for kids on the Saturday probably

Ban Koh Nang Kham: Creative English Teaching　湖に浮かぶ小島の学校で英語を教える

ソンクラー湖のほとりにある南タイの小さなムスリム・コミュニティで、地元の学校の子どもたちのために活動を企画し、村人たちと生活を共にする。生徒たちと一緒に創造的な活動を企画・実施。活動は教師の監督のもとで行われる。ボランティアのスキルに応じて、1年生から9年生までの各クラスで、週に2回（1回1時間）の活動を担当。1回の授業は英語学習を中心に行い、もう1回は内容を自由に決めることができる。学校の外では、一部の村人がボランティアを招いて、ソンクラー湖の地元漁師の生活について学んだり、その他の共通の活動の企画を予定している

Sankhu

To foster intercultural exchange, dialogue, and understanding between different cultures. To enhance international volunteers' knowledge of living conditions in other parts of the world. To improve participants' understanding of development projects. To encourage volunteers to share their experiences about different cultures, living conditions, and development projects in Nepal. To provide Nepalese youth with the opportunity to learn from international volunteers about life, culture, and academic/technical knowledge. Volunteer activities: Cultural exchange program: High school students will engage in a cultural exchange with the volunteers, fostering mutual understanding and sharing experiences. Exploration of Newari traditions: Participants will learn about the traditional Newari lifestyle, enriching their cultural understanding. Environmental awareness initiatives: Programs will address environmental issues like global warming. Volunteers will organize paper and plastic collection drives and teach the local community about proper waste disposal methods. Heritage site cleaning: Volunteers will clean the Bajrayogini and Shree Swasthani Temples to promote cultural heritage preservation. Day hiking to Nagarkot: Participants will enjoy a hike to Nagarkot, experiencing rural life and the stunning Himalayan view. Educational exchange: Nepalese students will gain insight into international education systems, while both Nepalese students and international volunteers will participate in cultural, dance, and art activities.
