Koh Sukorn

? Replanting rice plants in flooded fields-
The rice (seeds) is first sowed. After a few weeks, the young seedlings are harvested in bunches. These are then separated into individual plants and replanted in the flooded rice fields in evenly spaced rows to allow the plant to grow to full size. This improves the yield of seeds the plants will produce.

**Activities proposed above can be adjusted according to the current incidents of sudden, possible unavailability of project matters, weather condition, etc.
It’s recommended for participants to bring in some ideas for group activities to the work camp as you will spend most of your stay with your volunteer friends. Activities can be card games, songs, shows, craft skill sharing or anything that bring you guys together!

To foster intercultural exchange, dialogue, and understanding between different cultures. To enhance international volunteers' knowledge of living conditions in other parts of the world. Volunteer activities: Cultural exchange program: High school students will engage in a cultural exchange with the volunteers, fostering mutual understanding and sharing experiences. Exploration of Newari traditions: Participants will learn about the traditional Newari lifestyle, enriching their cultural understanding. Environmental awareness initiatives: Programs will address environmental issues like global warming. Volunteers will organize paper and plastic collection drives and teach the local community about proper waste disposal methods. Heritage site cleaning: Volunteers will clean the Bajrayogini and Shree Swasthani Temples to promote cultural heritage preservation. Day hiking to Nagarkot: Participants will enjoy a hike to Nagarkot, experiencing rural life and the stunning Himalayan view. Educational exchange: Nepalese students will gain insight into international education systems, while both Nepalese students and international volunteers will participate in cultural, dance, and art activities.

SEEDS 074. Photography & Fun in Reykjav?k - September　自然や文化を探索し、写真を学ぶ（16～20才）

これは通常のワークキャンプではなく、学習・交流型キャンプ。ボランティア作業の比重は少なく、地域への貢献よりも参加者個人の学びのプロセスを重視している。屋外でのボランティア活動を企画できる場合もありますが、パートナー団体の状況や天候条件による。
参加者は、写真に関する理論を実践に活かす時間が設けられており、街を探索しながら撮影を行います。キャンプの最後には、各参加者のベストショットが選ばれ、SEEDSのSNS上でオンライン展示会が開催されます。可能であれば、デジタルカメラ、レンズ、三脚、ノートパソコンをご持参ください。
写真を学びながら、参加者はアイスランドの文化を能動的に体験する機会を得る。文化を「撮影する」「関わる」「発信する」という形で、キャンプ全体を通じて自分の作品を披露していきます。若者が写真を通じて環境や文化的なテーマ・課題を発信できるよう、力を育てることも私たちの目標の一つ。
参加者は、活動中に中?長距離を徒歩で屋外を移動すること、および柔軟なスケジュールの中で行動することに対応できる準備をしておいてください。ワークショップの時間外にも自由時間を使って撮影を行い、撮影した写真はグループでのフィードバックセッションで話し合う。滞在中、SEEDSは学び・交流・アイスランド文化の発見・そして楽しみを組み合わせたプログラムを提供します。街の探索に加え、ゴールデンサークルやホットリバーハイクなどアイスランドの絶景スポットへの遠足も予定されている。

Support Women’s Cooperative

This camp focuses on traditional food production and agricultural support. Volunteers will actively participate in daily village life and seasonal production activities.
-Harvesting vegetables directly from the fields
-Collecting pine cones and seasonal agricultural products
-Supporting the preparation of traditional foods such as; tomato paste (sal?a), bread, pestil (dried fruit sheets), dried fruits and vegetables, noodles etc.
Assisting in kitchen organization and preparation processes
Supporting packaging and preparation of products when needed
The work is hands-on and practical. Some tasks may require working outdoors under the sun, while others will take place indoors in production areas. Volunteers should be open to learning traditional methods and working closely with local women.
Working hours will be approximately 5?6 hours per day.

BACKGROUND
Nyamira missionaries was founded and registered with social development in 2002 in Kenya.
The organization is located at Nyaramba -Nyamira County in South Nyanza Region of Kenya.
The organization consists of 137 members consisting men, women, youth who vary the age of 18 years to even 80 years. The organization has the office at Nyaramba market in Nyamira county about 10 km from Nyamira town on way to Ikonge town ship center.
The organization is managed is managed by executive committee that consists of chairperson, vice chairperson, the secretary, Vice Secretary, Treasurer and 5 members.

Project overview
? Happy Me Happy You is a community-based organization set up to break the cycle of poverty in communities in Western Kenya.
? The group is passionate not only to support beneficiaries but enhancing the program at the grassroots to make the difference.
? The CBO has children as the priority with the number of students growing rapidly. The majority of the children are orphans who have grown up in extreme poverty with food scarcity
? By supplementing their nutritional needs, providing clean water and other basic necessities, the CBO is dedicated to provide a conducive environment for learning.
? The CBO supports parents and guardians to break the cycle of poverty in the community through food supplies, water filters, seedlings and generally enhancing the food security situation.

? The project is located in Kipkiran village, Kipchekwen sub-location, Banja location of Vihiga County.
? The project is located 15 Kms from Majengo township along the main Kisumu-Kakamega road.
