Place: Imayo-area Minamiechizen-machi, Fukui-ken

Activity:
This is the second work camp we have cooperate with “Chiikiokosi-kyouryokutai (one of local revitalization groups)” of Minamiechizen-machi.  
Imajo-area is one of the most heavily snow areas in Fukui-ken.  Local people feel that snow is awful thing and snow may cause one of depopulation problems.  
Mr. Mitsugu who grow up and still live in Imajo-area feels that snow is not only awful thing but fun things.  He wants to tell local people how to enjoy snow.  He had had an event to enjoy snow with open space which have “Kamakura (igloo)” and hill for sliding sled last year.  The number of gathered customers is not so large.  But he felt it was the first step for local people to notify how to enjoy snow.  
He believes that the area turns heavy snow into a success.  He feels possibility transfer to the future through the event.  It will be the chance that snow to be identity and pride for local people.   We will have “Yuki-matsuri” this year, too.    

Work:
Preparation and managing of “Yuki-matsuri” and set up the open space (Kamakura, Soriyama).

Belongings: Warm outfit for cold weather, Snow suits, A cap, A pair of gloves, A pair of long boots if you can take, A sleeping bag (we are feasible to rent)

*Price includes 3 meals, accommodation fee, and insurance premium
