Where is Ooduchi-mura?
It is one of small village in Ishikawa prefecture. There are only 10 houses, 2 residents and 1 cat. The houses are made by red roof tiles, water is come from the beautiful mountains, and the village consists a huge rice fields. In this place, people can enjoy amazing landscape of Japanese original state and Japanese traditional houses. People work there to protect these Japanese traditions.

A lot of volunteers, which is about 400, from all over the world had been joined this program. To keep the traditions of Ooduchi more than 100 years, we are passing baton to next generations.

What are we going to do?
We are going to help to hold the Ooduchi-festival which happens once a year. For instance, cooking outside, supporting events, and enjoying the festival! A lot of people will come to this small silent village. We are looking forward to see more volunteers who can cheer up this festival!

How to enjoy Ooduchi-mura?
After the work, you can have cold natural water from the beautiful nature. Also, you can use hammock under the thousands of stars, or having Japanese tradition bath. You can forget the daily life and enjoy the wonderful nature and warmness of people.
