Kitadani area of Katsuyama-shi, Fukui-ken has been depopulation and aging, so it had been so difficult to keep local community.  “Ohara eco project” have been organized to keep traditional buildings, the original scenery, and traditional culture by local people on 2006. 

Main work is to remove “YUKI-GAKOI (make snow fence to preventing collapse from snow)” in this time.  We also plan to clean up the source of water supply. 
We will remove line woods around “KOMINKA (old Japanese traditional houses)”, and clean up the source of water to be supplied in the village.   

We will also clean up KOMINKA in the area as weather conditions.  We aim KOMINKA to display “MINGU (Japanese traditional articles for everyday use)” and to use accommodation for volunteers in near future. 

Let’s have a delicious dinner together, and look sky up and enjoy a great star-filled sky.

*We are welcome you with your own car.  In the case, you can meet us 13:30 at the site. 

Breaking up: Apr.16th(Sun.),2017  around 16:00 
*We plan to break up at Katsuyama-Station. 

Belongings: Suitable clothes (long sleeve T-shirts and a pair of long pants), A pair of solid sneakers or long boots, Outfit for cold weather, Towel, A set for spend a night (changing clothes, tooth brush, and etc.)
