Activity and attraction:
This work camp cooperated with NPO JINENJO-CLUB.  They act to lead revitalization of the foot of Mt. Tsukuba working on art activity and organic farming with challenged people.  The Weekend Work Camp in Tsukuba marks the 15th anniversary in this year!
NICE takes a part of the rice-planting meeting from preparation on a day before the meeting same as last year.  The rice-planting meeting has a scale of about 100 people including local people.  You can experience all steps of rice-planting work by hands.  You can also experience to participate the rite of DENGAKU (dancing and music performed at agricultural observances and festivals in medieval Japan) using drums and physical expression. 
There is near Tokyo and the time is the best of all seasons.  Why don’t you come and join us?  We are sure that you can be relax and refresh after physical working in great spacious nature of Mt. Tsukuba.

Meeting place: At a bench at the front of the ticket gate of Tsukuba-Station on Tsukuba-Express-Line. 
Breaking up: May 21th(Sun.),2017  16:00 (plan)

Belongings: Suitable clothes in which you may get dirt and wet, A set of spending a night, Outfit for cold weather (it will be cold in the morning and at night.), A pair of working gloves, A pair of long boots (a pair of shoes for rice-planting fields would be better if you have ones.), Repellent for bugs, Medicines for bite by bugs, sunscreen, A cap
*You don’t need to take your sleeping bag. 
*Bare feet in rice planting field will be cause your skin itchy, please make sure to use your long boots or shoes for rice-planting fields.

*Price includes 4 meals (1 breakfast, 2 lunch, 1 supper), accommodation fee, transportation fee between Tsukuba-Station and the site, light snacks during the interactive party.

We don’t set for the upper limit in case of one-day work participation.
