Activities:
Photos of Kodomo-hiroba (an open space for children): The underground water of the outer rim of a crater of Mt.Mikuni comes out and flow around the space.  There are equipped some playground equipment which are molded as time passes.  The space has been used as manufacturing place when environmental study classes has been held.  

As one of actions for countryside conservation, we have continued the work to conserve woods there.  But now members become older put on years.  To do so, the site has been suffered troubles to keep woods, walking course, open space for kids, base camp, and so on.  This situation will move there to devastated woods lands again.  Now we need to consider measures to keep and maintenance facilities.  
We have worked to keep the walking course as small scale as small number of people can do.  If a few people helped us, the devastated woods lands will be revived again and the site will be used as better place of the kids’ environmental study classes.

Work:   
For the woods, we cut down sustainable harvested woods and bamboos using hand saw.  And we also work clean up, saw up logs, mow, plant deciduous broad-leaved forest, and utilize conifers, Japanese cedars and Japanese cypresses, as to grow nameko muchrooms.  
We plan to work to maintenance for the walking course, the open space of children, and the camping base.  We will brush cut and mow, clean up, make flower beds at 0 spot of the course, make signboard, make playground equipment.
Participation to Satoyama-ranger program which is the experiences program for parents-children.  You can experience environmental study with children.  It will include an observation program of wild animals and plants, a woodworking program, and a bamboo working program.

*If you will come by express buses, we can meet you parking area of Susono-bunka-center (Susono culture center) at 13:00.  (The bus route will be Basta-Sinjuku-4F at 10:35, Sibuya-mark-city 5F at 11:00, Susono-bunka-center at 12:37.)

Breaking up: Sep.24th (Sun.),2017 around 15:00 (plan)

Accommodation: Koumyou-ji (one of buddhist temples), or community center of the area.  

Belongings: Drink (500ml at least, you can buy some more at the evening), A sleeping bag, Suitable clothes and shoes for work in which you may get dirt (long sleeve T-shirt, and a pair of long pants), A set for take a bath (we will use public spa where be equipped shampoo, hair drier, and NO towels)
*Outside works will be changed by weather conditions.
