Back ground:
There is 40minutes by train from Osaka to the south.  You can enjoy the walk among fields and country hill scene from the station to the site “Okunotani”.    
“The society of preserving the nature of Tondabayashi” have started their action of preservation of valuable nature in semi-natural area since 1996.  
“Okunotani” is one of eco-villages where use new technology regardless of no electric line.  The energy for accommodation is self-supplied by solar panel and storage battery.
Okunotani is in spring sunshine filtering through the leaves of tree now.  It is the season of fresh green leaves of the tree and insects appeared out.  There are a touch of living things in the air in June.  

Work: 
1.    Mowing of the Japanese apricots fields of challenged people’s facility and harvesting Japanese apricots
2.    Lightning bugs watching
3.    Plants appreciation

Harvesting Japanese apricots and Lightning bugs watching are only one chance in the weekend workcamp of June every year.  Why don’t you come and watch lightning bugs which flow fantastic and beautiful in the dark paths? 
After mowing of the Japanese apricots fields, we can enjoy harvesting Japanese apricots!!  And you can take some Japanese apricots after the work camp.  I had made “UME-SHU (Wine made from Japanese apricots which can be made by oneself)” last year.  
We need many man hands to harvest at the Japanese apricots fields because there is so spacious.  We really in need of  YOUR volunteer power.  
We also plan to have a party under starry sky.  Let’s eat and drink around fire to enjoy unusual weekend or to meet “ICHIGO-ICHIE (One meeting, One opportunity-the concept in the Way of Tea of regarding every encounter as a unique opportunity of a lifetime, or in general, of treasuring each passing moment in order to live meaningfully)” or to interact each other.

*Please contact us in advance if you will come by your own car.  We can tell you about parking.  

Breaking up: Jun.4th(Sun.),2017  around 16:00 (plan)

Belongings:  Lunch on the first day, Drink (You better take 1 L at least though you can buy some more in the evening.), Sleeping bag, Suitable clothes and a pair of shoes in which you may get dirt (long sleeve T-shirt and a pair of pants), A set for take a bath (We plan to use the bath of Japanese hotel near the site.  The facility is equipped towels, shampoo, conditioner, and hair driers), Snacks and sweets for the night, ”My cup” if you have one
