🌱 Weekend Work Camp in Ozuchi – Early Summer Edition! 🌱
June 7 (Sat) – June 8 (Sun), 2025

Ready to get your hands dirty in a hidden mountain village with only one resident (and one cat 🐈)?
Join us in Ōzuchi, a small village in Ishikawa where nature and tradition live in harmony.
This time, we’re working in the fields and gardens—and if we’re lucky, we might spot some fireflies at night!✨

📍 Location: Ozuchi, Yamanaka Onsen, Kaga City, Ishikawa
👥 Capacity: Around 10 people
💰 Fee: ¥4,000 per person (includes meals, accommodation, and operational costs)
※ Onsen fee (~¥500, optional) not included
※ Alcohol & snacks not included—please bring your own or share with others

🌾 What is Ozuchi?
A remote village with 10 traditional houses, 1 kind-hearted resident, and peaceful mountain life.
Volunteers from around the world have come here to help preserve its unique charm.
We're growing food, maintaining old homes, and building community—one weekend at a time.

🛠 What will we do?
Tend to the vegetable garden
Cut firewood for the irori (traditional hearth)
Clean and care for old houses in the village
Let’s support this one-person village with the power of many!

13:20 Meet at JR Kaga Onsen Station & head to Ozuchi

14:00 Optional: Onsen & local sightseeing

🎒 What to Bring
✔ Clothes that can get dirty (long sleeves/pants)
✔ Rain gear (top & bottom recommended)
✔ Warm layers for chilly mornings/evenings
✔ 2 pairs of gloves
✔ Toiletries & towel
✔ Sleeping bag (rentals available)
✔ Rubber boots (rentals available)
✔ Something to share at the irori (snack, drink, or local treat)
✔ Sandals or slip-ons
✔ Swimsuit (optional – for river play or drum-can bath)
✔ A little courage & a playful spirit!

The village terrain is uneven—watch your step!
