8月30日～8月31日のウミガメ保護活動ボランティアのお知らせです。

◆ ワーク内容
静岡県の遠州灘に産卵のためやって来るアカウミガメ。
8月からは日々子ガメたちが産まれて海に旅立ちます。
海と私たちの暮らしを考えるアカウミガメの子ガメの観察会や、孵化場（保護した卵がふ化するまでの間保護するための施設）内外の整備、階段の補修などの活動を行います。

◆ 主な活動内容
浜松週末ワークでは、遠州灘海岸の環境保全活動を行っているサンクチュアリジャパン(※)の共催のもと、遠州灘海岸へ繁殖に訪れるコアジサシやアカウミガメの卵を守るための孵化場の整備、海浜植物を植える活動を行っています。
※ サンクチュアリジャパン・・・浜松市に拠点を置き、遠州灘海岸の環境保全活動を行っているNPOです。

◆ コミュニティスペースタキヤ金物店
宿泊先は日本で唯一現存する関所「国指定特別史跡 新居関所」のすぐそばにあるコミュニティスペースタキヤです。（どんな所かはお楽しみに♪）夜には、明治時代から続く昔ながらの銭湯に足を運びます。

●集合日時：8月30日(土)12時00分（昼食はお弁当を持って来てセンターで食べても、各自済ませてからでも構いません）

●集合場所：サンクチュアリ事務所（浜松市南区中田島1672-3）
※浜松駅からバス利用の場合…JR浜松駅北口バスターミナル6番乗り場「中田島砂丘行き」で「中田島砂丘」下車。バス停から中田島砂丘方面へ徒歩1分。車移動のため車で来られる方、大歓迎！！

●宿泊場所：コミュニティスペースタキヤ

●解散日時：8月31日(日)お昼頃を予定

●持ち物：砂まみれになって良い服と靴、もしくは長靴かサンダル(靴の中に砂が入りやすいため)、帽子などの日焼け対策、雨天にはカッパなどの雨具、お泊りセット、参加費、寝袋、入浴代（別途400円）、その他ご当地酒やオススメおつまみなどあれば)、自然や野生動物を思いやる気持ちetc

●参加費：5,000円
※2人以上の家族参加（夫婦・親子）は1人につき500円割引
※参加費の主な内訳：宿泊費、飲食代等

●定員：15名（車でお越しになる方、大募集！）

●その他：貸し出し用の布団がございます。（布団代1000円）
※数に限りがございますので、レンタルを希望される方はあらかじめお知らせください。

●親子参加：可能（ご不明な点がございましたら、気軽にご相談ください。）

Hello!
We are pleased to announce our sea turtle conservation volunteer activity for August 30th - August 31st.

This work will help with activities to protect sea turtles.
From August, a lot of baby turtles hatch and head out to the ocean every day!
We will observe these baby turtles, maintain the hatching area, repair the stairs and think about how the ocean connects with our daily lives.
Join us to learn, help, and enjoy this work together!
We are looking forward to your participation!

●Meeting place: Sanctuary Office (1672-3 Nakatajima, Chuo-ku, Hamamatsu City)
●Place to stay: Community Space Takiya
●Dismissal Date: Sunday, August 31st, around noon.
●What to bring: Clothes and shoes that can get covered in sand, or boots or sandals (sand tends to get inside shoes), sun protection such as a hat, overnight set, participation fee, sleeping bag, bath fee (400 Japanese yen), (other local sake, recommended snacks, etc., if available), and a sense of caring for nature and wildlife.
●Participation fee: 5,000yen
●We have futon mattress for rent. (1,000 Japanese yen for a futon) Please let us know in advance if you wish to rent a futon.
●Parent-child participation: Possible.
