| 背景 |
The work camp is organized within the frameworks of World Heritage Volunteers Initiative launched by UNESCO World Heritage Centre and Coordinating Committee for International Voluntary Service (CCIVS). One of the main goals of the project is to raise awareness about the necessity to protect, preserve and promote cultural and natural heritage in general and the inscribed or potential World Heritage sites inparticular.Zvartnots was built in the middle of the 7th century. This architectural masterpiece is a monument which embodies the centuries-long traditions of Armenian architecture. Unfortunately, Zvartnots has survived only in ruins, as it was completely destroyed by a powerful earthquake in the 10th century.The camp has already been organized for more than 16 times and is already a popular and traditional one. |
| 仕事内容 |
The major objective of the work camp is to preserve this historical site for the future generations, to keep it in worthy conditions to allow the visitors to be spiritually enriched and to contemplate the beauty and thesplendour of this monument.Activities for the volunteers are as follows:61623; Maintenance of the territory - removing the over-grown grass, weeds.61623; National sounds of Zvartnots-learning Armenian national dances, songs.61623; Cultural program-My impressions about World Heritage Power point presentations of the volunteers on theirimpressions and feelings about the project and plans for the future.61623; Presentation of the countries the volunteers come from, and of the UNESCO World Heritage Objectsexisting there.The participants will get certificates in the end of the work camp. |

Guest house on the territory of the Cathedral. Participants will be provided with mattresses and linen. |

ARMAVIR PROVINCE. Cultural Program: Volunteers will have three outside trips to Sevan Lake, Garni Temple, Geghard Monastery, Symphony of stones, visits to the Mother Cathedral in Etchmiadzin, Zvartnots Cathedral ruins, as well as museums and exhibitions in Yerevan. All of these is for free.Study part: Armenian dance, song, and language workshops, along with dolma and barbeque-making classes. |

Volunteers will live together at the camp site in gender-separated rooms with beds or mattresses, bathroom and toilet. NO NEED FOR A SLEEPING BAG OR LINEN.. Nearest airport is EVN. Nearest train or bus station is -. |
