Weekend Work Camp: Let’s enjoy tent-sauna and farming activities in Ozuchi! @ Join us in a remote village with only one resident to support growing rice. We offer you a tent sauna experience as well as a fun attraction.

Date: July 12(Sat) - July 13 (Sun), 2025

Location: Ozuchi, Yamanaka Onsen, Kaga City,
Ishikawa

Capacity: Around 10 participants

Participation Fee:
 ・full participation 4,000yen/person (includes meals, lodging, and camp operations)
・one day participation 2,000yen/person
*Optional onsen fee (~*500) not included.
*Alcohol and snacks not included-please bring your own or contribute to a group purchase.

What is Ozuchi?
Tucked away in the mountains of Ishikawa, Ozuchi is a designated Important Preservation District of Historic Buildings-with only 10 traditional houses, one resident, and one cat.
It's a place where time slows down, surrounded by terraced rice fields, red-tiled roofs, and fresh mountain spring water. Volunteers from around the world have been helping preserve this living heritage for future generations.

What Will We Do?
Day1: Prepare for tent sauna (setting up tents, making fire etc and enjoy!)
Day2: Help clean up the rice and vegetable farming fields including weeding and digging.

13:20 Meet at JR Kaga Onsen Station
14:30 Induction
15:00 Tent Sauna
18:00 Dinner & Gathering

July 13 (Sun)
08:00 Breakfast
09:00 Farming activities and Clean-up
12:00 Departure from Ozuchi
(13:00- sightseeing in Kaga area for those who want)
If you need to arrive late or leave early, just let us know in advance!

What to Bring:
・Clothes for farming that you don't mind getting dirty(long sleeves/pants)
・Clothe for sauna
・Rain gear (jacket & pants recommended)
・ Warm layers for morning/evening chill
・Two pairs of work gloves
・Toiletries & towel
・Sleeping bag (rental available)
・Rubber boots (rental available)
・small dish or drink to share at the irori
・Easy slip-on footwear
･Swimsuit (for river or drum-can bath)
