Saint-Jean-Bonnefonds is a commune of 6600 inhabitants in the Loire department of the Auvergne Rhone-Alpes region. Bordering Saint-Etienne, the town is also just an hour s bus ride from Lyon. Between the Monts du Lyonnais and the Massif du Pilat, Saint-Jean-Bonnefonds welcomes you to its rolling hills and breathtaking views. After three years of work, the commune would like to welcome a new team of volunteers. |
| 仕事内容 |
During this workcamp, you ll have the opportunity to take part in a variety of activities. First, you ll work on your self-expression, using your artistic flair to create a graffiti mural in one of the city s neighborhoods. Next, you ll be immersed in the local environment as you work on the Nourishing Forest Trail. Finally, you ll be asked to organize meetings and events with a variety of local audiences, including children, the elderly and local associations. Four young locals will join the team for work and community life. In this way, they ll be able to share their cultures with you, while showing you around their town. You ll be supervised by municipal employees who will share their know-how with you and help you discover the town. You ll work between 5 hours a day, mornings from Monday to Friday. |

You ll be housed in the elementary school in the center of the town. You ll have access to sanitary facilities, a kitchen area, several sleeping areas and the schoolyard. Each volunteer will be expected to take an active part in the group s collective life: preparing meals, washing up, cleaning toilets and premises. |

SAINT-JEAN-BONNEFONDS. Saint-Jean-Bonnefonds is ideally located for visiting the cities of Saint-Etienne and Lyon. Nature lovers can also enjoy the hiking trails around the commune. Local volunteers are always on hand to offer suggestions for activities and leisure pursuits. You ll also be able to take advantage of the July 14th festivities, which will be a great opportunity to meet the locals. Age 17-28. This workcamp is aimed at volunteers who want to explore their creativity and organize an event. Of course, the workcamp is open to everyone, whatever their profile: all you need is motivation to contribute to this great project. In the context of group life, qualities such as listening, respect, tolerance and open-mindedness are required. |
