背景 The Associa??o dos Jovens Volunt?rios (AJOV) is a nationally recognized non-government, non-profit organization founded in 1998 in Mozambique. It was officially recognized by the Mozambican Government's Ministry of Justice on June 16, 1999 and registered in the Legal Entities of Maputo
The GOAL of AJOV is to create a fair and democratic society where young people can actively and effectively participate in their own socio-economic and cultural development as responsible citizens.
The organization aims to support and defend the rights of young people, advocate for their causes, promote self-employment and help strengthen social ties for their overall human and social development. The focus is always on protecting their autonomy, security, and dignity so they can fully exercise their citizenship.

仕事内容 WORK

? Working with Community;
? Work with local NGOs, to develop social & community work.
? Also create recreation activities such as game, song, intercultural exchange together.
The informal children's education project in Maputo aims to develop language skills for disadvantaged children because, as Mozambique continues to develop, they have an increasing need to learn the English language. As a volunteer, you can help children acquire language skills that will greatly benefit them later in life and help them break their families' cycle of poverty. .
The project aims to make a positive, long-term impact on the lives of underprivileged children by providing them with the support and education they need to succeed.
Come to Maputo and teach English to children from disadvantaged communities.
宿泊 Stay in the house and foster homes. Share one big room together, separate male and female. You will take turn to cook.

AJOV will send all the necessary documents to start the visa process with the Mozambican embassy in your country or in a neighbouring country if you do not have one in your country.

Travel from Maputo Terminal Anjo Voador to Maputo City FPLM, it’s about 12 kms. There are 2 ways to get there.
- Travel by bus and car/taxi. The most popular way to travel from Maputo to Mafalala is by bus. TRAVELLING by Txopela is one of the transport option, takes about ten or fifteen minutes. Maputo Aeroport is in the town centre so everything is easily accessible.
