背景 Foundation Proyecto Ecol?gico Chiriboga, is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that has no religious, racial or political affiliations. It was legally established by Ministerial Agreement No. 47 of the Ministry of Environment of Ecuador - South America on March 19, 1999.
Our main objective is environmental protection and conservation, promoting the development of communities whose activities are related to the environment and the development of the local economy.
Helping people become aware of the importance of reforestation and agriculture in the area, with the support of the community, foreign volunteers and the participation of government institutions related to urban conglomerations, the environment, quality of life, and equitable relations between the population and its environment.
仕事内容 Project located in Canton Taisha- Province of Morona Santiago in the Amazon region of Ecuador, the project is part of the Forest Kutuk?- Shaimi the protected land which belong to the Shuar nationality.
PROJECT DETAILS
Selva y Vida is a permanent program who works from January 2nd to December 23rd of every year, it was created by FUNPROCH and managed by an Indian Shuar family. Our mission is to preserve the biodiversity and the natural resources with the local inhabitants for the benefit of the current and future generations.
This program is dedicated to true nature lovers who want to experience an eco- adventure and who would be willing to adapt to the modest accommodation offered in the project.
The volunteers will have the opportunity to learn about the jungle during their stay, the traditions and customs of the Shuar culture while they support the schools nearby and make community work, construction of houses and latrines, path cleaning with machete, reforestation and agriculture, as well as handicrafts in the afternoons.
Type: Permanent.: From January 2nd to December 23rd of every year
Age: Older than 18 years old.
Language: Basic Spanish is necessary
Minimum time of participation: 4 weeks up to 1 year, but could be offered for less time,
Work: From Monday to Friday ? Weekends are free to travel around or just to rest.
宿泊 Accommodation: Modest accommodation in cabins in the project, shower in the waterfall of the river. We are able to provide meals with meat and vegetarian.
場所 Morona Santiago- Cant?n Taisha- Macuma. PUBLIC SERVICES: There is not current water but there is a water fall nearby, no electricity, no signal for phones no internet, you can wash your clothes by hand in the river.
TROPICAL DISEASES: there is NO presence of Zika, malaria nor dengue.

To abe able to live with rustic natural life, it means with no energy nor communictions, no current water
備考 Program fee for four weeks: 500,00 American dollars, must be paid at your arrival before going to the project, in case you want to make short stays or longer stays please ask us about the fees.
Cost includes: Four weeks of accommodation in the project, including breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Cost does not include: Any kind of transportation, bottled water, extra food and beverages, calls and internet access.
What to bring: Long trousers, long sleeves T-shirts, towel, rain jacket, cap, rubber boots, items for personal hygiene, swimsuit, sunblock, mosquito repellent etc.

主催者・支援機関詳細 財団法人Proyecto Ecol?gico Chiribogaは、政治的、宗教的、人種的差別なく活動する非営利団体で、南米エクアドルの環境省の閣僚協定N°47によって法的に構成されている。財団は10年以上にわたり、教育、社会福祉、環境プロジェクトを行っており、その主な目的は、環境の保護と保全、環境範囲と地域経済の発展に関連した活動を行う地域社会の発展の促進です。
企画者・参加者の声 　「モンゴル」に憧れて参加。期待を裏切らない大自然。野菜の収穫は楽しかったけど、建設と水やりは少し寂しかった…不慣れながらも大人数の食事を準備したこと、みんなで文句を言いながらもやかんでお湯を沸かしてシャワーを浴びたこと、寒い中で星を見たこと、ささいな瞬間全てが「非日常」だった（経験者談）。
