背景 The municipality of Roye, is an historical partner of Concordia, which used to host the delegation, has decided to reconnect with volunteer workcamps in 2022. For this new generation workcamp since decades, the municipality is keen to welcome young internationals in its commune and prepares activities throughout the stay for you.
仕事内容 In the heart of Roye, the ancient ramparts have stood the test of time?but now they need your help! Join this project and help restore this historic site, a place where locals pass by every day, bringing back its colors and charm.
Your mission? Clean and clear the overgrown vegetation before repairing and repointing the damaged sections using traditional masonry techniques. No experience needed?you’ll learn everything on-site! Beyond the work, you’ll also help rediscover this forgotten landmark by sharing its story with the local community.
Expect a warm welcome from the people of Roye! A special opening ceremony with the town hall, meetings with locals, and activities with the beneficiaries of the Social Action Community Center (CCAS) will make your stay even more memorable. This is your chance to combine history, hands-on learning, and an amazing cultural exchange in an unforgettable volunteer experience!
宿泊 You will be hosted in individual tents next to the village hall Guy Mar?chal equipped with a kitchen, and set up as a living space for your visit . Showers and toilets will be available in the rest room of the stadium in front of the living area. Community life will be at the heart of the experience: you will share daily tasks and prepare meals together. A budget will be allocated to the animation team, and you will take part in grocery shopping and meal preparation, with a focus on healthy and locally sourced products.
場所 Roye. The small town of Roye in the east of the Somme department is waiting for you to discover this region, its heritage and its natural spaces. Many activities are planned: discovery of the city sports associations (archery, water polo etc..), visit of Amiens and its cathedral as well as Compi?gne or/and the castle of Pierrefonds!
The swimming pool is two minutes away from the accomodation : do not forget to take your suimming suit in your luggage!
集合場所 The meeting is planned at the Montdidier SNCF train station at the end of the day on the 08/08. The exact time of the meeting will be communicated with the info sheet, sent at least 4 weeks before the beginning of the workcamp. The trains are open to booking about 4 months before the departure dates, accessible on the following website: https://www.sncf-connect.com/en-en/ If you are coming first by plane, remember that you will need some time to commute from the airport to the train station, therefore we recommend that you arrive early enough for you not to rush and have a stress-free travel. If possible, please consider using low-carbon transportation (train and bus rather than airplane) for a sustainable international workcamp.. Nearest airport is CDG. Nearest train or bus station is Montdidier SNCF train station.
追加登録費 追加登録費250 EUR （募集時のレートでは約40,000円）を現地到着時に現金払い。
資格 Age 15-17. Foreigners belonging to the European Union must bring with them a personal EHIC (European Health Insurance Card), and everybody must, in any case, bring their insurance certificate. If health issues arise on the project, volunteers will have to pay for them, and will then be reimbursed once back in their home country.
備考 Remember to bring work clothes for the work site as well as closed shoes. As you will sleep under a tent, remember to bring your sleeping bag as well as a sleeping mat for more comfort.

Don't forget your bathing suit in case you go swimming. You can also bring specialties from your country, photos, musical instruments, in short what you like and want to share on this site, either with the local population or with the group!
