背景 Founded in 2020. the association "I love Topli Do" aims to preserve nature and develop Stara Planina and nurture the spirit of freedom of the people of Stara Planina (Old Montain). "I love Topli Do" is a community of people who love the beauty of untouched nature, Topli Do and Stara planina. Their wish is to protect Topli Do as a natural oasis of freedom (it is declared as Free eco-zone, where no investor and comercial tourism are welcome) and to encourage the development of tourism and a healthy way of life and thinking in Serbia. One of the goals of the association is to prevent the village from further dying, by restoring new life through various projects. The association brings together Toplodolci (people born in Topli Do and those who trace their origins to this village), but also includes Toplodolstvo - friends and enthusiasts from all over Serbia and the region. United, they want to renew life in the countryside and return to tradition and untouched nature in order to seek inspiration and energy for modern challenges.

Young Researchers of Serbia (YRS) was founded in 1976. Our main aims are environmental protection and education, promotion of sustainable development, work with young people in an international context, promotion of scientific creativity and voluntarism and its values. Voluntary Service of Serbia is a volunteer exchange service center founded in 1990 as one of the sectors of YRS.
仕事内容 You will definitely be a part of history of these villagers that fought for their nature in this area!

Work itself will be divided into cleaning and arranging paths that lead up to some nice viewpoints of Stara planina ("The old mountain" in Serbian) as well as the local natural swimming pool "?enski vir" (Women vortex). Also, you will help to clean the spot for creating small picnic area at the top of the hill nearby, where the view on the surroundings is magnificent. Taking care of the river will also be your task during these days.

Second part will be the support in organization of the festival for nature lovers - arranging the centre of village, setting up the stage and info counters, while on the days of the festival, volunteers will support the workers in handing out flyers and in the whole production.
宿泊 Accommodation for volunteers will be provided in the adapted building of the agricultural cooperative "Topli Do" - the mountain lodge Topli Do. Accommodation is provided for volunteers in three four-bedded rooms. Blankets and bedding are provided. The building of the mountain lodge itself is a village building adapted for these purposes and is used as a lodge for adventurers and mountaineers throughout the year. The home has a toilet, a bathroom and a shower with hot water. The local partner, the "Stojanovic" farm, will prepare meals for volunteers and other festival participants during the camp and the festival. Meals will be served in the canteen in the premises of the agricultural cooperative Topli Do, just across the accommodation.
場所 . Topli Do, one of the most remote villages of the municipality of Pirot (1 hour drive from there), is located in the Stara planina nature park under its highest peak, Mid?or (2,169m).

The village is one of the most authentic villages on Stara planina (it is officially inside the Stara planina Nature Park). Only 7 km from the village is the peak Babin zub (1,759 m) and the famous ski resort Jabu?ko ravni?te. The village is reached from the direction of the village of Temska, where you pass through the canyon of the river Tem?tica ("Little Colorado"), certainly one of the most beautiful and attractive canyons of this type in Serbia.

What makes Topli Do and its surroundings stand out from other old mountain villages is the abundance of waterfalls, unique in many ways in Serbia. A special attraction about 4 km from the village is the Piljski waterfall - 64 m. About 8 km from the village there is another interesting waterfall, Kurtulski - 27 m high.

In every case, we recommend you to bring just patience and smile and it will be one great adventure!
集合場所 You can arrive to Pirot from Belgrade and Sofia. From Belgrade it is a 4-hours ride, from Sofia it takes 1-2 hours, but the bus goes only once a day. More informationS will be given in the Infosheet.. Nearest airport is BEG. Nearest train or bus station is Pirot.
