| 背景 |
Our goal is to raise awareness and work for the cloudy forest conservation through research and good agricultural practices. We aim to help young participants learn about and understand the agricultural production process of the food we eat, the impact food production has on the environment, and the most sustainable ways to produce our food. They will learn about the role of cloudy forest conservation in the protection of water and its impact. |
| 仕事内容 |
The volunteers will carry out sustainable agriculture activities such as soil preparation, composting, planting gardens, and tree care. In addition to on-site circular economy research projects such as biogas production from animal manure, they also include activities to protect water sources, road maintenance, environmental restoration, and beekeeping training. The results of the volunteers' research and learning are transformed into environmental education workshops that are shared with different age groups: children and youth, farmers, university students, among others. This project requires working with agricultural tools such as shovels, machetes, hoes, and others. This requires being around insects, animals, soil, and getting dirty. |
| 宿泊 |
Volunteers will be housed in shared dormitories with en-suite bathrooms. Hot water and electricity are available. There is no cell phone service or internet access at the site, as it is a natural environment. Meals will be provided by project staff. Vegetarian dishes will be served upon request. |

| 資格 |
Age 18-99. Being able to live in the forest with no phone signal. Being able to be surrounded by nature. Not being scared of insects or animals. Not being afraid of getting in contact with dirt. No special skills are needed, the group will receive training before every activity. The volunteers should expect to be away from cities as a way to connect with nature. Physical work is needed. |

The workcamp will be done in English and Spanish. Basic level of Spanish language is desirable. |

「モンゴル」に憧れて参加。期待を裏切らない大自然。野菜の収穫は楽しかったけど、建設と水やりは少し寂しかった…不慣れながらも大人数の食事を準備したこと、みんなで文句を言いながらもやかんでお湯を沸かしてシャワーを浴びたこと、寒い中で星を見たこと、ささいな瞬間全てが「非日常」だった（経験者談）。 |
