背景 The idea of this camp was born in october 2023 within a project promoted by local organizations and SCI for the valorisation of cultural heritage and youth participation. The partner organization is the Sanctuary of San Benedetto il Moro, custodian of a site rich in history, partially hidden by time and natural events. The project aims to rediscover and reactivate these spaces through the involvement of international volunteers, offering a unique community experience, based on memory, care and sharing.
仕事内容 The volunteers will be engaged in practical activities of clearing out and reorganizing of historical environments that are temporarily inaccessible. The work includes cleaning operations, removal of debris deposited over time and support for the documentation of the place. The activities take place in a simple but fascinating context, with attention to safety. The work will be physically demanding and will require a spirit of adaptation (no more than 6 hours per day).
宿泊 The volunteers will be hosted inside the Sanctuary, in simple, shared, authentic and evocative monastic cells. A sleeping bag is not required, but you are asked to bring your own towels. A refreshment point will be available with water, tea and coffee. Meals will be provided by the facility staff; Independent use of the kitchen is not foreseen.
場所 -. The camp takes place at the Sanctuary of San Benedetto il Moro, in via Salita Belvedere 3, village of Santa Maria di Ges?, at the foots of Mount Grifone. It is located about 30 minutes from the center of Palermo by public transport, surrounded by nature and rich in history.

追加登録費 50 EUR(募集時のレートでは約8,000円)を現地到着時に現金払い。
資格 Age 18-99. Good health, adaptability to simple contexts and team spirit are required. The camp includes manual activities outdoors and indoors and may not be suitable for those with severe dust allergies or mobility difficulties. Respect for the times and shared spaces of the Sanctuary is necessary.
備考 The camp takes place in a quiet and isolated place. Respect for the spaces of the Sanctuary is required: alcohol is not permitted and shared hours must be observed. No free access to the kitchen; meals are provided. Limited Wi-Fi, variable phone signal. There are no ATMs nearby: bring cash. Bring work shoes, comfortable clothing, towels and, if possible, your driving license. Free time for cultural excursions and moments of sharing.

Please kindly note that there is an additional incoming fee of 50? for all volunteers applying through Partner organisations or Contacts of the SCI network. 企画者・参加者の声 　「モンゴル」に憧れて参加。期待を裏切らない大自然。野菜の収穫は楽しかったけど、建設と水やりは少し寂しかった…不慣れながらも大人数の食事を準備したこと、みんなで文句を言いながらもやかんでお湯を沸かしてシャワーを浴びたこと、寒い中で星を見たこと、ささいな瞬間全てが「非日常」だった（経験者談）。
