Food will be prepared by everyone. The participants are encouraged to assist in the preparation of the meals. Filipino food would be mostly served in all meals. The participants will be accommodated at the Retreat House center near the project site. It is built of concrete materials and with basic facilities. A personal blanket and towel are needed. You may bring a camping tent if you like, the place is ideal for camping to experience nature. |

CEBU CITY. The location has nice natural places for organizing outdoor activities like sports and fun games with children and youth.-WIFI connection is not accessible in the community, but mobile data connection is accessible in limited areas. |

A.Meet-up at GIED office 10:00 AM by 11:00 AM travel from Cebu City to Dalaguete to Mantalongon Retreat houseB.For participants who will not arrive on time he/she may proceed to Cebu City South Bus Terminal and take the public bus from Cebu City to Dalaguete, Cebu. Alight at the Dalaguete Bus Station then hire a public motor vehicle to go to Mantalongon retreat house. For international participants arriving before the camp date or who want to stay after the camp, you may stay at the YMCA hostel, located across from the GIED office. Rate per person is from Php 450-900 depending on the type of accommodation. Reach out to the GIED Workcamp Coordinator via WhatsApp to check availability or request for reservation of the room/s at least one week before the official start of the Workcamp.. Nearest airport is NOP. Nearest train or bus station is Cebu South Bus Terminal. |
