THE MIDI STONES QUARRIES

You love nature and history ? Come help restore the historical stone quarries of Saint-Paul-Trois-Ch?teaux, a site full of hidden treasures !
Did you know that the stones from this small town in the Dr?me region were used to build monuments in Paris, Lyon, Marseille, and even New-York ? Today, this remarkable site still bears traces of this once-flourishing industry.
By joining this project, you will contribute to the preservation of the local heritage.
Your mission: restore access paths damaged by erosion and protect local wildlife. On steep, wooded, and rocky terrain, you will set up drainage channels to facilitate water flow and prevent further degradation, as well as build steps to make the area more accessible. This work is a continuation of the restoration work carried out over the past three years. It requires dedication but provides an immersive and enriching experience.
Whether you're a history buff, nature lover or simply looking for a meaningful human adventure, this is the project for you!
No prior skills are required - just motivation and the desire to contribute to a valuable initiative in the heart of the Dr?me Proven?ale.

Come take part in the project to protect the Auga peat bog and other sites around ! At the foot of the Pyrenees mountains, this natural area is a unique mosaic of ecosystems! PEACE works H?tensleben - - celebrate Reunification

Celebrate 35 years of German Reunification, for this reason PEACE is the main theme of this project. The workcamp combines volunteering, learning from history, thinking about peace and the exchange with the local villagers in a special way.

+ Volunteering: There will be various smaller tasks in H?tensleben. You will be doing some maintenance work at the border memorial, mowing and building new wooden seating areas. Other small jobs for the local infrastructure will be added.

+ Learning from history: You will not only work on the border memorial, but will of course also be given a lot of background information on the history of the Iron Curtain and the division of Germany, as well as going on excursions to other thematically relevant places of interest.
Thinking about peace: What is Peace for you? When and how is peace in danger? Share your personal point of view and the reality in your home country with other volunteers and with local villagers.

+ Exchange with local villagers: Peace will be one topic to share and to discuss, but you will also get to know local associations and be able to exchange ideas about everyday life today. They are very excited to meet you and will be glad to share stories with you about their experience in this border area. It would be great if you can speak a bit of German and/or are able to communicate with a phone translator.

DOWN TOWN KIDS 3 子どもキャンプをリードし自国の文化を共有

キャンプにおいて子供たちを活気づけ、異文化学習体験を提供。ボランティアの活動は以下の通り：自国で人気のあるゲームや音楽の演奏、アマチュア演劇を上演できるよう子供たちを指導、フェスティバルの準備、知能ゲームやスポーツゲーム、ディスカッション、名所を巡る遠足と組み合わせた探検、平和と自然保護のため活動を企画、夏のメインテーマに関するトピックの中でチームプロジェクトに取り組む子供たちを指導しサポート。キャンプでの毎日の活動。キャンプではエストニアの若者と交流し、現地の生活を体験できる

勤務日は月～金と、土１日。日曜日は到着後1日を除いて休み。現地の参加者は、主にタリンの少数民族の若者で、家族の言語にはロシア語が含まれる。前年の実績から、1回のキャンプに参加する子ども・若者は最大40名を予想。ボランティアは2人1組となり、日中は10～12人以下の少人数のグループを進行・指導し、2～3日ごとにグループを変える。到着後3日間、ボランティアは研修を受け、月曜日に子供たちや若者と会い、キャンプでの仕事を遂行するための準備をする。このため、時間通りに到着すること。
※10時～17時までキャンプに参加（昼食は45分）。翌日の活動の準備とフィードバックに約1時間

Holiday camp for asylum-seeking children

他の地元および国際的なSCIボランティアと一緒に、子どもグループを管理する。キャンプの実際の生活(子どもたちを起こすなどの日常生活、着替え、シャワーを浴びる、寝る、掃除など)のお世話。プランはある程度決まっているのでそれに沿って、子どもたちと遊んだりお世話をする。すべてのボランティアは、夜間に起こりうる問題をサポートしたり、対処したりするために、子どもの寝室の前の廊下で1晩寝るように求められます。日中、夕方、夜間、子どもたちの見守りや世話も担当する
子どもたちのためのアクティビティやゲームのアイデアのために、創造的になる必要有り。
