HANDS ON

JOINT WORKCAMP - HELP FOR CHANGE

During the workcamp, volunteers will work with children from socially vulnerable families living in the vicinity of the Diaconia Foundation, in houses donated by sponsors in the Huysi Avan district.The main activities are: in the morning, volunteers will be involved in cleaning work; in the afternoon, they will organize cultural development programs for children from socially vulnerable families in theHuysi Avan district, such as singing, dancing, and painting. They will organize various volunteer competitions.Volunteers will teach their national songs and dances, which will be included in the final event display.Volunteers will also be involved in the Foundation s activities: distribution of food, school supplies, and provision of clothing; visiting families in different regions of Armenia to assess their needs; organizingfree recreational activities for children with disabilities; and home visits.Participants will receive certificates and letters of appreciation at the end of the workcamp.

Volunteers will spend mornings in various activities with the members that Association supports. There will be artistic tasks (mosaics), educational (some workshops), sports... Volunteers will also dedicate some time to keep the school clean.

The main aim is to be there to meet the people that don't have that many opportunities for that in regular life, so the good will is really something that will help immensely!

【学習テーマ】Kostelni Lhotaにおける地域活動について地元市長を招いて行うワークショップ、Sadska、Podebrady（温泉街）、Nymburkなど近隣の村々への訪問。移動手段として自転車が提供。地域社会の力学や地域文化を理解し、周辺地域を探索

天候が悪いときには、家の中や周辺で、ペンキ塗りや修理など、リフォーム作業を行う。ゴミにも人間と同じように第二のチャンスがあり、私たちはゴミをアートに変身させます！流木で本棚を作ったり、古タイヤや網で椅子をデザインしたり、あなたの無限大の想像力を生かしてください！アイスランドの天候は変わりやすい（5分で変わることも）。作業は天候に左右されるため、臨機応変な対応が必要。このワークキャンプでは、他の国際ボランティアと一緒にアイスランドで素晴らしい時間を過ごし、参加者同士が知識を共有しながら、創造性、環境問題、異文化を学習する素晴らしい体験ができる

様々なアクティビティがあるが、主な活動は、海岸清掃。ゴミの量だけでなく、ボランティアやあらゆる立場の人々がゴミ問題を認識し、行動を起こすきっかけになるのが清掃活動だと考える。ごみのデータ収集を通じて、一つひとつのゴミを追跡していくことは、貴重な内省の時間となる。また海岸清掃は、海岸の状態や海岸を汚染するゴミの種類について新たなデータを収集する機会でもある。最も有害なゴミを特定することで、環境保護団体は、そのゴミが海に流入したり、再び海岸に捨てられたりするのを防ぐ方法を見つけることができる。また地元コミュニティと協力し、近隣地域の森林再生を支援。

THE PATH UNDER THE GISQUET GATE

Help restore a historic cobbled path at the entrance to the town of Bazas, in the middle of the Entre-deux-Mers vineyards!
You'll start this restoration project by clearing the weeds between the stones and then repairing the joints that have been destroyed through time. The section you'll be working on corresponds to one of the historic entrances of the town, which is surrounded by walls. The path goes under a stone gate, the Porte du Gisquet. You will be supervised by a technical guide who will teach you various traditional methods.
