Urbact Callosa II

The aim of this workcamp is to preserve the natural reserve area surrounding called "Fonts del R?o Algar." More concretely, the work will be mainly dedicated to parks and gardens maintenance or “arboretum”: removing the over-grown grass, weeding some parts of the grasslands and the edge of the woods, maintaining footpaths. Volunteers will also take part in the clean-up of some areas of the reserve where building waste has been found, and if time allows it, they will carry out some painting works around the centre.

There will be other additional tasks to change the daily routine of the volunteers. Volunteers might participate in projects using recycled materials, such as sculptures, murals, mosaics, crafts, artistic activities, or other initiatives requested by the local town hall. Also, here may be a day of social work with the youngsters of the town in the local youth center, depending on availability and planning.

PERMACULTURE (SUSTAINABLE FOOD PRODUCTION)

Work- Permaculture As a volunteer, you will collaborate with the farmer s VIN, which specializes in permaculture. The work is typically hands-on, and you ll design the farm according to permaculture principles, including cultivating crops, weeding, irrigating, gathering materials, digging, and creating beds. EXPLORE THE TREASURE OF FOLK CULTURE

Frayse Toch Festival

イベント運営チームと共に、若者、一般の人々、アーティストを迎えるための会場の整備と装飾を担当。インフラの設営（屋外キッチン、休憩エリア、ステージなど）を行い、テントの設営も手伝う。フェスティバル中は、来場者やアーティストの案内をするか、どちらかを選んで活動することができる。作業時間はその日の活動内容に応じて分散される。また、フェスティバル前には、店舗にポスターを貼ったり、ラジオ出演をしたりといった広報活動にも携わることになる。

RESTORE THE SHELT'EARTH ON THE MOUNTAIN

Help restore a hut at the heart of the “hunters' site” in the south of France!
The commune of Puy-Sani?re would like to restore the “hunters' hut”, a structure overlooking the Lac de Serre-Pon?on, and through which many hikers pass. Once used as a base for hunters, this structure is part of the commune's rural heritage and could also become a shelter for walkers.

You'll be taking part in the restoration of the hut's enclosure during a 3-week international work camp. You'll work on cleaning up the site, deconstructing it before starting to build, and finally constructing a low wall. At the end of your work, the walls will extend over 24 linear meters, allowing the hut to become a used shelter again!

This is a high-mountain project, so you'll need to read the description carefully before signing up. You'll be asked to provide a cover letter before you can register!

Wood Meets Water

ワークキャンプの午前中は、木造の屋根付きシェルターの建設に取り組む。
このシェルターはリラックスできる涼しい日陰のスペースとして活用される予定。 技術指導者のもとで木工技術を学び、見習い大工としてのスキルを身につけることができる。
完成後は、装飾やレイアウトにも関われる。
長年の間に雑草が生い茂り、地面がデコボコになってしまった「池とパフォーマンスエリア」にある石やモザイクの床も修復。
カエルたちが鳴き声で応援してくれるかも！？
さらに、植物の水やりや菜園での収穫を行い、収穫物の加工にも挑戦できる。
また、鶏小屋の3羽の住人たちとも触れ合いながら、定期的に世話をする機会もある。

REVERSE DON QUICHOTTE ON THE MOUNTAIN

Help restore a mill in Freissini?res!
The Commune would like to restore the Moulin de Viollins, located along the Biaysse torrent and a popular passageway for hikers.
You're invited to take part in the process of giving the mill a new lease of life.

On the program: site clean-up to prepare the work area, removal of collapsed roof elements, removal of deteriorated walls, sorting of stones, deconstruction of unstable wall sections, repointing of masonry...The aim of your work will be to restore the mill's perimeter walls, in particular by sorting materials and laying a sloping glacis.

This is a high-mountain project, so please read the description carefully before applying. You'll be asked to provide a letter of introduction to the project before you can register!

PAINTING IN THE OLD TOWN

We offer you the opportunity to work on the embellishment of a shopping street in the heart of the old medieval town of Marvejols !

You will be required to repaint the street furniture in a pedestrian street. This is a very useful job for the inhabitants and shopkeepers of this beautiful town where life is good and where tourists and visitors like to stroll in the summer. Local festivals are organised on site during your stay where you can meet the locals. You can also take part in the activities planned with the leisure centre.

Black Forest Experience Lauterbach

Help the community of Lauterbach in preserving its forest and wildlife-rich open land! Lauterbach has many nature conservation areas to offer and your support is needed for various tasks.

During this Workcamp, you will work in the forest and open land, helping the municipality maintain wet meadow; an important habitat for rare species of flora and fauna. This involves removing mown material from the meadow by hand. The municipality is also responsible of the preservation of a hiking trail, so additionally, you may also assist in sanding, cutting or paving paths, renewing steps and painting hiking trail bridges.

Be prepared for hard physical work! Due to working in swampy (boggy) and steep areas, sturdy boots are required for effective work. The work will be led by a professional instructor, so no previous experience is needed. You will work 30 hours per week, between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Monday to Friday with a lunchbreak.

A park and a theatre for biodiversity 1

ベルジュラック市役所、ポンボンヌ公園のスタッフ、地元の団体とともに、グラン・ジャルダンやペピ・ロックの苗床で生きた土壌を使ったガーデニングを学ぶプロジェクト。ポンボンヌ公園内での生物多様性についてのプレゼンテーションにも参加でき、公園の植物や動物を保護するためのさまざまな方法が提案される。あなたの参加は、生物多様性の保護とこのユニークな場所の美化に貢献することになる。また、ポンボンヌ公園で生物多様性を発見する素晴らしい宝探しを作成する計画も。さらに、ラ・ガルグイユ劇場とともに、演劇やサーカスなどのパフォーミングアーツに関するワークショップに参加し、プロジェクトに芸術的で親しみやすい側面を加えることができる。ベルジュラックの環境と文化に関わり、違いを生み出そう。

Restore an Old Convent!

Conventでの作業は、たくさんの手入れが必要な様々な石の構造物に集中している。いくつかは崩壊の危険があり、建物や庭園を危険にさらしている。今年のプロジェクトでは、①崩壊の危険がある外庭の壁を解体して再建する作業と、②キッチンの石を水の浸透から守るための石灰プラスターの修復を行う。伝統的な石工の専門家の指導の下で、ボランティアは石灰モルタルの準備、石の解体と再組み立て、プラスターや接合材、被覆材の塗布などを学び、伝統的な技法を守りながら作業を行う。時折、体力を使う作業や高所での作業もある。猛暑の時期には、作業は午前中に限定

SAINT-JEAN-BONNEFONDS

During this workcamp, you ll have the opportunity to take part in a variety of activities. First, you ll work on your self-expression, using your artistic flair to create a graffiti mural in one of the city s neighborhoods. Next, you ll be immersed in the local environment as you work on the Nourishing Forest Trail. Finally, you ll be asked to organize meetings and events with a variety of local audiences, including children, the elderly and local associations. Four young locals will join the team for work and community life. In this way, they ll be able to share their cultures with you, while showing you around their town. You ll be supervised by municipal employees who will share their know-how with you and help you discover the town. You ll work between 5 hours a day, mornings from Monday to Friday.
