Environmental Protection of Codera Valley in the Rhaetian Alps

During the camp, environmental restoration activities will be carried out such as: cleaning of lawns and paths from brambles and weeds, particularly around key landmarks in the village (https://www.visitvalcodera.it/tour/ita/index.html) such as the viewpoint, the historic cemetery, and the burial stones dating back to around 500 AD; cleaning of portions of the forest from weeds; transport by wheelbarrow and arrangement of the wood obtained; recovery of the ancient pedestrian viability. The volunteers will work for about 6-7 hours a day, including walking times to/from the places of the activities (always near the village of San Giorgio), and during the camp they will have a day off.

EYA - Paths for Climate Action 2

During this camp, volunteers will be engaged in maintenance and care works on the paths within the protected area of the Appennino Lucano Val d'Agri Lagonegrese National Park and the village of Sasso di Castalda. In particular, the camp will focus on the Basilicata Frassati Path (within the protected area) and the Sentiero dell'Ascolto (Listening Path) (within the village). Alongside the path maintenance activities, there will also be activities to learn more about the climate crisis and get to know the area that will host the international volunteer camp; there will also be activities to get to know the local Legambiente groups active in the Basilicata region.

Nature conservation in the UNESCO Lower Saxony Wadden Sea Biosphere Reserve

Discover the unique habitat of the Wadden Sea and get involved in the conservation of the local flora and fauna. Every year since the summer of 2010, an ijgd group has supported nature conservation work in the coastal heathland and you will continue to do so. With a spade and hoe, you can help maintain the coastal heath and protect the native vegetation from being displaced by invasive, fast-spreading plants. By doing this work, you will help to preserve the typical character of the heathland. During your work, you will learn a lot about nature on the island and about the Wadden Sea UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will be guided by expert conservationists.

The project's accompanying environment programme includes a guided bike tour across the island, a guided mudflat hike and a visit to the National Park House with exhibitions, interactive stations and films about the Wadden Sea. Exchange and discussions on climate protection issues and practical nature conservation experiences in your home countries complete this programme.

Horses and Ponies Farm Kleinkatern　動植物と調和して生活する馬牧場で運営補助

馬の放牧地にあるシェルターの改善、牧草地の周りのフェンス作り、外来植物の整理、自給用の小さな畑の作業。看板や壁などに絵を描くといった創作的な作業。ブラッシング、餌やり、散歩、セラピー活動の手伝いなど、馬の世話について学ぶ。2週目は、牛、羊、鶏を人道的な方法で飼育している有機農場で、希少な植物も見られる牧草地の手入れ。この農場では総合的放牧の原則に基づいて牧草地を管理しており、動植物の両方を大切にしている。収穫や分配はコミュニティ支援型農業の原則に従って行われる。塗装、庭仕事も。作業は毎朝およそ3～4時間、昼食と休憩の後、さらに2時間。土日は休み。

The municipality wishes, by hosting this workcamp, to energize the town, to set up a European and intercultural project for the inhabitants and to enhance the local heritage.
Chicheboville has a church, which has been closed to the public for many years due to the deterioration of the building. This year your mission will be to restore the north facade of the village church: staking of the mortar, repointing with lime mortar (masonry technique for old buildings). You will be accompanied by competent animators throughout the project to help you step by step in the learning of these techniques!

BETWEEN PATH AND ENCOUNTER

Just 10 minutes from the heart of the village, by the riverside, lies a charming location where you will spend about 6 hours a day. The goal of the project is to rebuild two small walls that are at risk of collapsing. This work is essential to enhance and secure this area, which has a tourist vocation. On-site, you will learn traditional dry stone masonry techniques. No prior experience is required ! You will work as a team and will also take part in daily life tasks: cooking, cleaning, washing dishes, and activities with the local residents.

VIAXA POLA ISTORIA

This cultural volunteer camp will support the organization of a Festival of National Tourist Interest, the "Festa da Istoria", which highlights the cultural nature of the festival.
In this cultural celebration, history provides an insight into trades that are now in decline or forgotten, such as blacksmiths, carpenters, coopers, stonemasons, basket makers, and a long list of popular artisan traditions that have greatly influenced the economic history of Galicia, not to mention the importance of Ribeiro wine.
The work to be carried out can be classified into two areas:
A) Preparation of the ornamental elements for the "Festa da Istoria" decoration, focusing on the restoration of outdated or deteriorated materials, as well as the expansion of resources as requested.
B) Development of tourist resources to revitalize the town of Ribadavia beyond the "Festa da Istoria." A live role-playing event will be designed, in which the volunteers from the volunteer camp will design a story that they will then act out, interacting directly with local participants who join the activity.

Please note: This work camp does not coincide with the "Festa da Istoria," which will take place a few weeks after the camp ends. The activities are focused on the preparatory phase of the festival.

Each morning, you will lead 4-hour workshops for children at the nursery focusing on environmental awareness, digital detox, cooperation, and cultural respect, while afternoons are dedicated to preparing the following day's activities. The participants range from 3 to 17 years old, although the majority are usually between 3 and 6, and these workshops culminate in a community theatre performance about environmental protection, such as forest fire prevention or any other green theme chosen by the team, using recycled crafts created during the week as scenery. As local English levels are generally low, volunteers are encouraged to inspire the children through language, and those who speak Spanish are asked to use it to connect with the community, taking the initiative to foster a "culture of peace" and a great atmosphere in J?dar.

Neorurals: Reclaim the Land. Rebuild the Future.

The tasks of the camp will be mainly tasks related to bioconstruction, construction and forest clearing, we will work on creating a natural pool (hopefully swimming in it as it will be very hot!)

Other tasks such as wall painting, woodwork, setting and creating a more welcoming space for future volunteers will also be done during the camp.

DIY skills will be welcomed. The working tasks will always be easy and safe, always accompanied by a professional that will guide the volunteers.

Management and restoration of a protected Catalan wetlands

The general objective of the workcamp is to show the environmental reality of a territory and how to intervene in it by:
1. Contributing to the improvement and conservation of the Natural Area of Sils wetlands.
2. Knowing the biodiversity and the characteristic habitats of these humid zones
3. Knowing the land stewardship, the actors in the territory that participate and good practices.
4. Transmitting values of cooperation and respect towards the environment and its inhabitants.
5. Offering a space for exchange and discovery of the different realities of the participants, mainly in environmental issues and for the conservation and management of natural spaces.
6. Encouraging responsible consumption in every way. On the one hand, as an important measure for our environment; on the other hand, in the use of new technologies and other aspects related to the care of oneself and the community.
7. Promoting participants to become diffusers.
8. Showing Catalan culture through vividness and networking.
The volunteers will work 6 hours a day from Monday to Friday, and the rest of the day there will be environmental education workshops, games, swimming pool and leisure time. The local population will not participate in the actions but they will participate in the leisure activities such as traditional dances, the astronomy workshop, etc.

Every summer, the sons and daughters of Kuma-Apoti village, as well as members of the diaspora, gather to joyfully celebrate the “Dunenyo-Za” festival, also called the “Festival of Development.” This cultural and community event is a key moment where the population comes together to: Reflect collectively on the future of the village Promote youth through education, culture, and training Strengthen social cohesion around sustainable local development Kuma-Apoti, recognized as one of the cleanest and most environmentally friendly villages in Togo, places solidarity, unity, and respect for the environment at the heart of this celebration. In this context, ASTOVOT, a committed partner of the village, is launching an international cultural and solidarity immersion program, allowing national and international volunteers to experience unique opportunities for exchange, sharing, and community engagement

Objectives of project

Rebellious folks of the restless plain II (VCV21)　荒れ地を未来の学び場へ変える

土地を将来的に教育・パーマカルチャーセンターへ整備するための基盤づくり。
・主な作業内容は、土地の清掃とごみ拾い、外来植物の除去や伸びすぎた草の刈り取り、古い建物の解体と再利用可能な資材の回収、今後の施設整備に向けたインフラ整備の開始など。夏の終わりまでに、キャンプサイト、新しい遊歩道、コンポストトイレの増設、シャワー設備の整備を行い、今後この場所を訪れる参加者や来訪者を受け入れるための基盤づくりを目指す。
・実作業に加え、創造性や対話を育む活動も実施。現地では継続的なアートプロジェクトが行われるほか、「Forest Talks（フォレスト・トークス）」というビデオポッドキャストを制作し、対話やストーリーを発信。参加者全員でタヴァンクトの森を舞台にしたディストピア短編映画を制作し、自然再生と芸術表現を組み合わせた活動を行う。

Sasanu Pakpayoon School

The main role of the volunteers is to conduct non-formal English classes and organize fun activities for students aged 6 to 18. Volunteers will work in groups of at least 2?3 per class, with around three classes each day. In addition, extra activities will be arranged for the students during their free time and/or in the evening.
Volunteers will also take part in community activities, such as sports competitions and village ceremonies, which help strengthen relationships between the school, students, and local residents.

Heritage site cleaning: Volunteers will clean the Bajrayogini and Shree Swasthani Temples to promote cultural heritage preservation. Day hiking to Nagarkot: Participants will enjoy a hike to Nagarkot, experiencing rural life and the stunning Himalayan view. Educational exchange: Nepalese students will gain insight into international education systems, while both Nepalese students and international volunteers will participate in cultural, dance, and art activities.
