Crack Fest

During the festival, the place is going to host hundreds of artists and thousands of spectators, so the international volunteers will be asked to join the local volunteers to manage the entire organization of the event. An average of 6 to 7 hours per day is required, with possible activities organized on the event nights. The volunteers' work is going to involve : the logistic set up, the pub & restaurant tending, the cleanup and other activities proposed by the organizers. After the event, the volunteers will help taking down the structures and cleaning the fortress. The work can be physically hard (and it will be very hot), but the environment will be funny and easy going. The motto is to “Share, Work and Have Fun”. In a few words, get ready to be active and to give your energy to the community working at the Forte Prenestino.

A Community Project in Portugal - I

During the morning and early afternoon, the volunteers will work at Perp?tuo ? Educa??o e Cultura. In this workcamp, they will be tasked with painting games and a mural in the children's playground and participating in activities related to S?o Jo?o (the city's main festival), such as decorating spaces and organizing traditional marches, together with the association's children, young people, and elderly. In the late afternoon and early evening, the volunteers will be divided into two groups, and each group will support one of the solidarity restaurants. The main tasks at both restaurants will include helping to prepare and serve meals to people in need, as well as washing dishes and cleaning the space.

INTO THE WILD PROVENCE

Come and help set up a care center for wild animals!
The TOTEM association welcomes you to an international work camp in sunny Le Pradet, where you can join other volunteers on a project to set up a wildlife care center and preserve local biodiversity.
The project is located in the commune of Le Pradet, on land belonging to the Conservatoire du Littoral, and includes 2 buildings to be completely renovated to become care buildings.

Program:
Construction of dry-stone walls to demarcate areas, construction of animal shelters, restoration of antique furniture (1800), landscaping of outdoor areas, organization of garage sales with the commune to present the TOTEM project and international workcamps, creation of a fresco inside the building...

It's a great opportunity to discover the region and meet some unforgettable people!

Le Moulin seigneurial d’Eymet

地域の歴史家や協会のメンバーの協力を得て、エイメの象徴的な遺産の保存に参加。ミル内の石壁に伝統的な石灰塗装を施す技術を持った職人の指導の下で学び、屋外パティオの整備を行う。具体的には、雑草取り、木製床の設置、取り外し可能な日除けの設置、古い壁の修復。また、専門家の指導の下で川沿いの特有の植物について学び、ミルの半島でそれらの手入れも行う。町の大きなイベントである「建築遺産とミルの祭り」のデザインと運営に参加。

Are You Ready Honey?

De Amicitia has its own beekeeping project for educational and environmental purposes. We have 20-25 hives located in Altea that are used to carry out educational activities in centers and to pollinate the environment, as well as to produce a few kilos of honey that are used as gifts and to give visibility to the association. Volunteers will help us to maintain our educational beehive hives and panels and probably to fill up our glass jars with our fresh and delicius honey. We will also may ask them to support other assocations in the area by participating in local ecological activities like trail cleaning, community garden support, or beach litter removal, depending on current needs.
Volunteers should be ready for a hands-on, flexible experience and excited to contribute wherever help is most needed.

Teenage Summercamp　大自然を旅しながら地域活動に参加：15-17才

これは地球温暖化と闘うための、15ー17才のティーンエイジャーのための12日間の冒険キャンプ。アイスランドのリングロードを旅しながら、島で最も美しい場所を訪れ、同時に地域社会のためになるさまざまな活動に参加し、行動を起こす！ホエールウォッチング、氷河、黒砂海岸、溶岩地帯、温泉、純粋な自然の発見など、エキサイティングなアクティビティが盛りだくさん。キャンプ期間中、若者たちは日常生活の中で地球温暖化を防止する方法について焦点を当て、ワークショップを行う。
キャンプ中、ティーンエイジャーは、創造性を発揮しながらカメラを最大限に活用する方法を学ぶための写真撮影セッションも行う。デジタル写真プロジェクトのリサーチ、構図決め、撮影、修正に必要なツールの実地指導を受ける。主に自然をテーマに創造性を発揮しよう。アイスランドは写真家にとって魔法のような国なので、キャンプを終えて帰国したときには、きっと素晴らしい写真と思い出がたくさんあるだろう。

Latvian Midsummer “L?go” holiday traditions - Charity event!

"The Time for Youth" summer camp will consist of the following tasks:
1. At the small youth energy station point, where we organize daily meetings, we expect you to conduct traditional Cultural Evenings for Latvian youth, where you can share about your country, its opportunities, traditions, and interesting facts. You may also participate in some activities to share your personal experiences.
2. Each year, we organize a charity event by going to the fields and forests to pick flowers, oak branches, and other traditional L?go decorations to create special bouquets and wreaths under the guidance of a specialist. These will then be donated in exchange for contributions to collect funds for the organization "The Time for Youth" and its work with rural region youth, including at-risk youth?street youth.

3. We have a large charity warehouse in the district, where we provide humanitarian aid to Latvian and Ukrainian civilians, but during the summer period, we will move to newer, better-equipped facilities. We need help sorting clothes from more than 1,000 boxes by size and gender, so they can be placed in the appropriate boxes.
About L?go celebrations: L?go celebrations are the traditional J??i holidays celebrated in Latvia on the night of the summer solstice. These holidays symbolize the time of light, summer, and the flourishing of nature. The main essence of the holiday is to celebrate the return of the sun and fertility. L?go holidays are associated with various folklore and ritual traditions, such as weaving wreaths from grasses and flowers. A significant part of it is L?go singing, which includes traditional songs. Eating is another tradition of the holiday, with bread, cheese, and beer served at the table. Many celebrants also watch the sunset and light bonfires. A notable activity is L?going during the night, when people dance and sing. It is believed that celebrating helps ensure a good harvest for the following year. L?go holidays are a clear symbol of community and cultural heritage in Latvia. L?go is celebrated every year from June 23rd to 24th. You will have the opportunity to experience traditional L?go - J??i in Latvia, creating unforgettable emotions and memories. We will ensure that you have the chance to attend several offered events in the region, including in Riga (the capital of Latvia).
